Healthy air does not need open windows

You may be surprised to learn that all the windows in our practice rooms are closed – even in summer and during pandemic periods.
The reason lies in our special air-conditioning system: it not only ensures pleasant temperatures, but also filters pollutants and pathogens such as viruses and bacteria out of the practice air.

Frequent and extensive ventilation is as much a part of infection prevention as washing your hands – this is common knowledge in the year 2020. We do not want to leave any doubt about the correctness of this statement – even if you will not find any open windows in our practice rooms. Before you start wondering whether we are “fresh air muffleurs”, we would like to explain why we have installed a better solution than classic ventilation for our patients.

99.9 per cent of viruses are destroyed

In our practice rooms, the air is not only cooled or heated by a special air conditioning system. Rather, the built-in “Virus Doctor” from Samsung ensures that viruses, allergens, bacteria and moulds are effectively removed from the air. This also applies to influenza and SARS viruses such as the coronavirus. According to Japanese and Korean studies, the “Virus Doctor” eliminates 99.9 percent of airborne viruses with the help of S-plasma ion technology. In addition, harmful oxygen radicals are also neutralised.

How to stay healthy!

As a result, you breathe much healthier air in our practice rooms than outside in Berlin, and even healthier than in most places. Open windows would only hinder this health benefit. So it is in your interest and ours that our windows remain closed to prevent infection. You can rely on us to comply with all prescribed hygienic measures!

And if you wonder why you always feel so comfortable with us, it’s because of our special air; according to the manufacturer, our ultra-pure air not only minimises the risk of infection, but also makes you feel more comfortable.

We are working flat out to air-condition the rest of the practice rooms.
